Santa Cruz de Tenerife Map - Santa Cruz de Tenerife also called "Santa Cruz" is the capital of Tenerife.

Santa Cruz is situated on the north east tip of Tenerife and as such is quite a journey to the southern end of the island that attracts the most tourists.

It is the main commerce centre for the island and being  situated in a large natural bay it boasts one of the best deep water harbours in the world.

Santa Cruz is not what can be considered as a tourist resort but is definately worth a day out shopping as the prices here are excellent.
