The resort has a wonderful scenic backdrop and is only a short transfer from the airport.

The beach here at Playa de Los Pocillos is quite wide if not a little exposed and it is advisable to give it a miss on the windier days of the year if you don't like to get sand everywhere, that said with its windy outlook Playa de Los Porcillos has become a favoured beach by the windsurfing and parasailing community.
