Gran Canaria Map - Part of the fun of choosing your holiday to Gran Canaria is to have a look at a Gran Canaria island map and to find your resort or to just have a look at the roads infrastructure to see some of the areas you could visit whilst on your holiday.

Gran Canaria is the third largest island of the Canary Islands and is often referred to as a "Miniature Continent" due to the different climates and variety of landscapes found. As in all the Canary Islands The north of Gran Canaria tends to be cooler while the south is warmer and sunny.

The most famous and well known feature on Gran Canaria has to be the magnificent beach and sand dunes at Maspalomas which you will be able to see on one of the maps. A walk through the dunes truly gives you a taste of walking in the desert though luckily enough not quite so hot and a lot safer.
