Arrecife Tenerife Map - Arrecife is the commercial centre and capital of Lanzarote and whilst not a main holiday resort, Arrecife is well worth a visit if only to savour the culture and history of this historic city.

Public transport to and from Arrecife is excellent although if you do visit in a hire care it would be best to park in the main car park as finding somewhere to park is challenging to say the least.

Arrecife whilst not a resort does have its own beach which has been awarded the coveted blue flag for the beaches standard of cleanliness and its excellent water quality which is quite surprising given its locality.
